1. She should not be a nag. “Better to live on a corner of a roof than to share a house with a quarrelsome (contentious or a strife causing) wife.    (Proverbs 21:9)
2. A Christian wife is loyal and faithful to her husband no matter what because bible says;
“The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall no need to spoil.”   (Proverbs 31:11)
“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”   (Proverbs 31:10)
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”
(Proverbs 31: 30)   
3. She is willing to be Submissive.
“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.”    (Ephesians 5:22-24)
4. She should be industrious, hard working and able to provide for her family.
“She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she brings her food from afar. She rises also while it is yet night, and gives meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goes not out by night. She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.”
“She is not afraid of snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.” (Proverbs 31: 21)
5. She brings honour to her husband and children.
“She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life”    (Proverbs 31: 12)
“Her husband is known in the gate, when he sits among the elders of the land. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and praises her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all…….
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”    (Proverbs 31:25-31)
